Black River
Black River is located 20 minutes north of Townsville and is easy to access.
It's a great place to take your dog for a run while you go for an off-road adventure.
How to get there
Drive north on the Bruce Highway and take a left onto Mt Kulburn Drive.
From here, turn right onto a dirt track that leads down to the sandy river bed.
Some sections can be very soft so remember to pack recovery tracks!
